Bernard Cassiere – Micro-Gommage

Bernard, Bernard, Bernard… This luxurious Micro-gommage runs about $34 Canadian.  I’ve been using this for just over a year now and I have fallen madly in love with the smell, the texture and the results. I would love to repurchase this again once this tube comes to an end. The only way I can really describe the scent is like.. the sexiest man you could imagine. It smells absolutely divine. My eyes almost roll in the back of my head every time I take a sniff. It leaves my skin feeling super smooth and soft. Great for removing dead skin and blackheads!

Prim Botanicals – Lip & Cheek Glow

Good morning lovelies! I have this hydrating lip & cheek balm by Prim Botanicals today to review for you ^.^

I really love the Prim Botanicals packaging & website appearance. I find it very natural feeling and lovely ^.^  You can check their website out here:

To begin, this product & company is:

  • Cruelty Free
  • Vegan
  • No Mineral Oils
  • No Parabens
  • No Phthalates
  • Gluten – Free
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Non – Comedogenic

img_1665img_1674“How to use: Dab onto cheeks with ring finger and blend out gently. Pat onto lips for soft, moisturized skin.”

I can’t find the lip & cheek glow on their website but I did find one on ebay for half price here: LIP & CHEEK GLOW – PRIM BOTANICALS – EBAY if anybody is interested!

Below the product looks quite pigmented, however when you apply it and begin to blend it out it blends really beautifully and begins to look quite natural. I will definitely be trying the mauve coloured gloss more for cheeks than I would with the red. I think both will be really lovely on the lips :D!

Have a beautiful day everyone! Stay true to yourself & keep chasing your dreams!

Miz Lulu

Hello lovelies! I have another Seraphine botanicals product review for you today! To be honest this brand kind of scares me. The pigments of the two lip & cheek tint/gel that I have are soo strong, you have to work very quickly and use very little amount of this berry tint. The colour is gorgeous and the smell is delightfully cherrylicious, however these tints stain like a mofo and don’t wash off with soap. I’m sure oil works fine but I don’t always have oil accessible at my fingertips!

Shade – Cherry Cream

I would definitely recommend this more for the lips rather than a blush. It would stain your lips good and I would be careful with this stuff because like I said before it’s not easy to remove (and I can see it being messy if you’re not careful!).  😛

“Formulated to give you the softest, most natural-looking blush. The silky, whipped cream texture makes this vegan berry tint a dream to apply.”

SO if we are using this for cheeks I would recommend deffinitely not using your fingertips or your fingertips will be left stained. Sponge may get the best results but be ready to sacrifice what ever tool you decide to use because it will be left the colour of the tint you are using! Use a very very VERY small amount, it stops blending after it has been on your skin for around 5-10 seconds and I haven’t found it very easy to work it either. This bottle could last you a lifetime really!

♡ E.L.F HAUL ♡

elf_09Recently I purchased some products from eyeslipsface.com. I have a few brushes and a couple of face products to share with you lovely birds today ♡

First i’ll start off with brushes. The elf stipple brushes have been my favorite since the day I tried them. I use my small stipple brush for foundation and the regular stipple brush for blush. I know some people use the regular stipple brush for foundation however I find it leaves my foundation a bit streaky, resulting using the denser small stipple brush 🙂

elf_01I will start top to bottom with this photo underneath.

First is the “Professional Eyelash & Brow Wand” I use this for my eyebrows and sometimes my eyelashes after I have applied mascara and my lashes need some help separating to where i’d like them to be.

Second is the “Flat Eyeliner Brush” which I use to fill in my eyebrows using my eyebrow kit from elf (not shown, purchased at an earlier date). This brush works really great for making a strong line/edge for your eyebrows 🙂

Third is the “Flawless Concealer Brush” which I am new to. All the other brushes have been repurchases, this concealer brush so far has worked pretty good for me. I’m sure i’ll gain a better relationship with it over time.

Last here is the “Blending Brush” which is also a new brush for me and i’ve already fallen in love with it ♡ This brush is the perfect blending brush! It blends my eyeshadow soooo freaking nicely, you must give it a try!

ALL OF THESE BRUSHES COSTS   $1  –  $3     <– Honestly can’t go wrong.

elf_04Next I have the “BB Cream – Broad Spectrum – SPF 20” and the “HD Lifting Concealer” both in the shade “Fair” which works lovely for my skin tone. I haven’t had any problems with this bb cream oxidizing and turning any kind of orange colour. I find BB creams can usually end up looking a bit fake-orange colour after being opened for however long, quite unpleasant.

I’m new to using concealers, this is my very first one. It’s definitely thicker then the BB Cream (wanting to have a heavy coverage on certain spots). I found it dried pretty quickly on my skin, so make sure when you’re applying this to only do it in one or two spots, blend those spots out and then move on to your next area. Otherwise you will find a build up on your skin which can also be quite unpleasant.

BB Cream – $6.00   http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/face/tinted_moisturizer/bb_cream_spf_20

HD Lifting Concealer – $3.00   http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/face/concealer/hd_lifting_concealer

elf_05On the left we have the “HD Powder” which is a translucent mattifying powder. I’ve used coloured powder since I started playing with makeup. This is a nice change not having extra colour added onto your foundation, I find that can make it look a bit cakey at times.

This HD Powder was $6.00 which is a bit pricey for e.l.f products. But still very affordable! http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/face/powder/high_definition_powder

Next I bought the “Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder” which I honestly could have gone a shade lighter. The blush is definitely a bit dark for me, the bronzer is dark so its easy to over do it but it’s also easy to build  🙂

This Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzer costs $3.00.  http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/face/blush/contouring_blush_and_bronzing_powder

Last is the “Studio Baked Highlighter”. This product you can definitely build, the pigment isn’t very strong so I haven’t played with it much. If anyone has any suggestions on what brush to use with the highlighter that would be fab ♡

The “Studio Baked Highlighter” costs $3.00 http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/face/shimmer/baked_highlighter

So this is all for this time from e.l.f, I hope everyone enjoyed this post!

Do you love elf? What are your favorite products from them? Would love to hear!

e.l.f Matte Finisher & Essential Nail Polish Review!

So I’ve ordered from eyeslipsface.com three different times now. I got both of these nail polishes last January. I started using the matte finisher in the summer while I was working beer cart which didn’t really work out. I was driving around the golf course on a dirt path for 6-8 hours a day. I found the dust actually would stick to my nails and make them kind of gross looking & feeling.

However it is not summer anymore and matte finished nails seem to be all the rage in my daily reading materials. So I recently pulled this back out tonight after watching Meghan Rosette on youtube, she had this super pretty maroon matte nail polish on which inspired me to paint my nails!

So here is my nails before I put the matte finish on top just so you can see what this “Party Purple” looks like just in case you want to purchase it alone. In this photo i’ve applied 3 layers of nail polish. One layer is still very translucent so it is necessary to apply another layer or two. I found applying my second layer still had streaks which a third layer helps completely cover in an even colour.

Here is my nails after applying the Matte finish, I only applied one layer. My camera flash gives it a bit more shine and I must say it does look more matte in person! This finish dries really fast and its neat to watch it go from glossy wet to matte when dry! Image

The e.l.f essential nail polish’s are $2 each along with the Matte finisher at $2 as well! Let me know if you like the matte nail trend and what your favorite nail trend is for the holidays!

November Ipsy Glam Bag

Yesterday while visiting my mailbox I pulled out my favorite pink packaging from my mail slot. A smile appeared on my face as I couldn’t wait to get home back to my cozy living room to see what was inside this months Ipsy glam bag.

I first open my lovely pink package i pull out two little pieces of paper one being em by michelle phan who is apart of ipsy and is a beauty guru on youtube who just currently started her own makeup line. It’s granting me 30% off all of my product purchases at emcosmetics.com. Which is exciting because i haven’t tried em cosmetics yet 😀 ! The other piece of paper is the name of this glam bag which is “Glam It Up”

This months glam bag is a shiny fake snake skin looking. I like shiny things.

First I find this set of false lashes by everEZlashes which is a total of $5.99. I’m excited about these, I thinking this past week of giving false lashes another try because I am absolutely horrible at trying to apply them. On someone else, maybe. However on myself I feel like there’s no hope but someone reminded me practice.. does make you better 🙂

Next I pull out this waterliner intense color eyeliner in the color teal tease. I believe this is a full product which is worth $20.00 I’m happy with the color and I would love to try the rose gold one!

Next I am suuper excited about this Be a Bombshell, Lip Crayon in the colour Shameless which is a lovely burgundy colour with a shimmer. This product is full size and it is worth $14.

Next I pull out another cute little box which has this wicked Nail Lacquer in the shade Silver Slipper by ‘tini beauty lounge which is “cocktail inspired cosmetics”. I’m not huge on silver nail polish but I will give it a go 🙂

Next I have this really pretty Gem Eye Pencil in the colour Amethyst by Starlooks. There’s different gem eye pencils and they all look lovely. The first ingredient in it is aluminum powder which kind of threw me off because i know that aluminum will clog your skin and can cause cancer so i’m not to sure how close I want this to my eyes. This is a full sized product and it is worth $14.

Last but definitely not least because this is by far one of my favorite products in the glam bag. This very lovely “Subtly Suntouched” Beauty Bronzer by Pixi. I have wanted to try some of their products so bad and I am soo happy that this was included in this months glam bag. This is a sample product i believe, the full product i’m not sure how big exactly it is but perhaps twice the size and includes a Kabuki brush and there are 3 shades to choose from!

This include’s everything in my November glam bag. I hope you enjoyed this post! I will be filming a video this afternoon as well so keep your eye out for it!
