This little guy is a lotion bar which I have never tried before. This little ladybug bar smells like an orange creamsicle dream.
“A Solid Lotion Bar Little Ms. Lady Bug weighs in at 1.30 oz., with a reusable tin included.
Each Bar contains ingredients that are soothing to the skin, senses, body and mind. The scent reminds you of the orange grove you walked in that like Adam and Eve you pick the forbidden fruit off the tree only this time the forbidden fruit is an orange.
Directions for use: Hold the solid lotion bar in your hands when it melts some, rub it on your body for an all over experience of pure soft yummy smelling skin. The best time to apply the lotion is right after you shower or bathe, while your pores are open and they soak in. Enjoy!
Here are the Benefits of the Calendula in the lotion bar.
Physicians have been writing about Calendula and its amazing benefits for the skin for a very long time. The dried flowers of the plant were traditionally used in soups and stews to fight off illness, which is where it got the name Pot Marigold. The name Calendula comes from the Latin word Calendae, meaning the first day of the month, as this plant can bloom every month of the year in its native climate. Calendula is known for many health benefits but is most recognized for its effectiveness in healing skin problems, such as wounds, burns, insect bites, eczema, shingles and skin ulcers, to name a few.
Some of the amazing benefits Calendula oil has on the skin are;
1. Helps in healing wounds, cuts, bruises, scrapes, and inflamed skin.
2. Nourishes and softens dry chapped skin.
3. Is known to have antiseptic, anti fungal, and anti bacterial properties.
4. Very effective for treating sun burn, minor burns, acne, eczema, inflamed skin, and rashes.
5. Is very helpful in treating athletes foot.
6. Is used for relieving diaper rash.
7. Is known to relieve bug bites and stings.
These are just seven reasons why this wonderful plant as earned the name among herbalist, “Mother of the Skin”. This is a must have plant in the garden, not only will it aid you and your household with wonderful medicinal and culinary values but will bring beauty to the garden all season long.”
Next I have these 3 bath bombs in the scents Love Spell & Moonlight Pomegranate.
Price: $1.67 each
“If you want to relax and sink yourself in to a tub with something, Bath fizzies are the way to go. Pop one in the tub watch the fizzing and relax as the scents take you into dreamland. I suggest two fizzies per bath time.
These bombs will not only relax you, but they will detox the body as well. Epsom salt and Baking soda will help to draw out impurities and heal itching and skin. I also use Chia Seed and Olive Oil.
Benefits of Baking Soda
Are you a shower person or a bath person? I love baths, but I haven’t had the time the past few months and I really missed them, they are so relaxing! This past week though, I caught some type of virus, so I took a bath every night to reap the benefits of Epsom salts, which help detoxify, boost the immune system, relieve aches and increase magnesium. In addition to adding Epsom salts to my baths, I also like to add a little baking soda, Chia seed oil, Olive oil along with essential oils or fragrance for the benefits. What’s the perfect way to add all these fantastic ingredients to your bath? A great bath bomb! They are very popular lately and very cool, like something you would get at a spa.
Baking Soda- I love to add some baking soda to my bath because it aids in drawing out toxins from your body. Not only does it remove toxins, it also aids in alkalizing your body, helps treat common skin problems, hemorrhoids and yeast infections
Benefits of Epsom Salts
Epsom Salts- Many people are deficient in magnesium and Epsom salt baths are a great way to increase magnesium levels! When you bathe in Epsom salts, the magnesium and sulfates are absorbed in the skin, pulling out harmful toxins from your body! Some of the health benefits of magnesium include; fighting inflammation, increasing blood flow and improving oxygenation in your body. Just some of the conditions Epsom salt baths helps are; sprains and bruises, athlete’s foot, toenail fungus and gout.”
Last I have these lovely “Lip Lickers” in the flavour’s Orange Creamsicle and Rum & Coke. These really do have me licking my lips when I’m using them! They are quite tasty and smell delightful. These Lip Lickers come in 33 different flavours!

These balms are made with flavor oil, soybean oil, sunflower oil, beeswax, hemp oil, avocado oil. jojoba oil, cocoa butter, Shea butter, vitamin E, aloe Vera. avocado oil
Benefits of some of the ingredients
One of the most popular ingredients of commercial lip balms is beeswax. Taken from its root word, bees, beeswax is a nutrient-packed substance that bees secrete when constructing a honeycomb. Beeswax in its natural form is liquid and devoid of color. It can be easily mixed in water in oil emulsions and is hypo-allergenic. Beeswax is also an effective emollient, meaning, it has natural soothing and softening properties that makes it a great lip balm ingredient. Its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial components can help in the prevention of infection and bacterial growth. Beeswax can trap moisture excellently, and can aid in defending the skin against detrimental factors found in the environment.
Benefits of Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is most effective among all the natural herbs. Aloe Vera can be considered as the blessing of the nature for the human kind. It is used in large variety of health and skin products. Aloe Vera creams and ointments made with aloe Vera are very effective for a number of skin problems. The aloe Vera herb is used as stand alone ingredients as well as the combination with other products.

If you’ve read other posts of mine or watched some of my youtube you will know I am a redwine fan so this was perfect for me! I also had the pleasure of doing a quick interview with Francesca from Passion Moon Potions!♡
Miz Lulu [Q]: What inspires you to create Passion Moon Potions?
Passion Moon Potions [A]: I love to create products that make people feel good. I’m inspired by this gorgeous island. Flowers, foods, desserts. Anything that entails you to be nice to yourself.
Q: What are two products you use on the daily?
A: Whipped sugar scrubs and Kau’i Oil
Q: Where did the name Passion Moon Potions come from?
A: Passion Moon Potions began from my love of pastry and desserts combined with the importance of lavishing oneself in quality skin care. I always loved being in the kitchen creating delicious things to eat. Baking sweets & decadent desserts was a way for me to express my love for this art through complex flavors and textures combined. As a coffee connoisseur, I also enjoyed making gorgeous designs in lattes using my artistic nature with the creamy coffee textures. I always enjoyed making desserts for people and was happy to put a satisfied smile on their faces. Finding the baking world to be far too fast paced, I decided to start my own business to continue following my love of this art and keep my passions alive. I made the leap from desserts to skincare and combined my love for desserts and sweet smelling skin products into literal desserts for the skin. Flowers have always drawn me in for their sweet scents and beauty. These floral expressions are embodied within my skin care products. For women, the moon represents a source of connection with nature. As I was experimenting with my own recipes and creating luxuries for the skin, I created many potions in my laboratory, evolving into Passion Moon Potions.
Q: When did you start creating your own skin care products?
A: I started back in 2000, went from a hobby to a business somewhere around 2006.
Q: What do you do when you’re not creating potions and filling orders?
A: I work a couple days at my family’s organic cafe. Enjoy Island life. Head to the beach, swim, relax, read. Play around with new product ideas. I focus my life on feeling good and having fun. 🙂
Be sure to check out Passion Moon Potions on Etsy! She’s got tons of lovely skin care products for every type of person! ❤
Good afternoon my lovely beans, today I have a special post review for you! I recently teamed up with Jessica Johnston from Voodoo Herbals to showcase and review some of her all natural, cruelty free, river friendly and homemade goodies! I was able to do a short interview with Jessica so we could get to know her a bit better!
Shop Voodoo Herbals here: https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/Voodooherbal?ref=pr_shop_more
Miz Lulu (ML) : Where you are from and where are your products are made?
Voodoo Herbals (VH): Im from a tiny little town in Oregon called Grass Valley population less than 100. My products are made at my house (for now).
ML: Where your passion comes from to create these products?
VH: I find it unbelievable how many nasty harsh chemicals are found in damn near everything. I was giving my daughter a bath one day and started reading the shampoo label and realized I couldn’t pronounce a quarter of what was in it and that really motivated me to make the bath and beauty products I have (with many many more on the way). As for the herbal remedies I make, I remember my grandma always had a herb for everything while I was growing up, and once I grew up (now living 100s of miles from grandma) I still use some of her remedies today. Where we live we do not have access to doctors, hospitals or grocery stores unless you want to make a 2 hour trip. simple things like cough medicine or ointments or really anything….. doesnt come to easily out here so I learned to make them myself 🙂
ML: What is your occupation other than an etsy store owner?
VH: Oh gosh lol so much. I am the chief of flags at Oregon Raceway Park, I run Voodoo Herbs on and off Etsy, part time housekeeping for some businesses around the county, full time mommy, and a micro farmer/ homesteader. I stay pretty busy 🙂
ML: How long has Voodoo Herbal been going for?
VH: Almost a year 🙂 it will be one year in July
ML: What made you choose the name Voodoo Herbal?
VH: The name was actually chosen for me. I had been making herbal remedies for friends, family, and neighbors for awhile and they would all tease me calling me a voodoo woman as a joke because everything I would make them usually helped out really well with whatever they needed it for. So when it came time for me to pick a name for my shop i asked everyone what it should be and everyone picked Voodoo Herbs/Herbal so it just kinda stuck.
ML: What are you doing on your days you’re not taking orders and creating products!
VH: Well if i’m not working at the racetrack or for the shop I am usually home taking care of my daughters (ages 2 and 8) and taking care of the homestead and animals. I also do a lot of gardening, canning, and I even sometimes crochet if I have the time lol. Its never ending work but its so worth it.
I’ve been using this soap for about a week now, Jessica offers custom natural goat milk soap bars with a huge list of scent options. I received the Amber/Goat Milk Soap bar which I am absolutely in love with! Amber is one of my favourite scents of all time and mixes so nicely together with the goats milk. Every time I wash my hands I can’t stop smelling them >.< So yummy!
Check out all the different scents & herbs for pre-made and custom goat milk soap bars!
“If you have a particular scent or scents you would like added message me with your request and we will make it happen for you. All soaps have added shea butter to keep skin moist. The sample bar gives you a good amount of uses so you can try before you buy a full bar :)”The next items I have here are 3 custom bathbomb’s in “Lemongrass”, “Cinnamon Spice” and “Cupcake”. I’ve already used the Lemongrass one which I really enjoyed, I have some video footage of it in my favourites video I will have live on my youtube shortly! These are super adorable and make baths super fun ^.^
https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/255473769/custom-bath-bomb-set-of-6-or-12?ref=related-3 Last Voodoo Herbals included two sample sized salves for me to try out, (all of these products can be custom made to your preferred scent) She included a “Migraine & Headache Salve” which is a soothing menthol scent. I use this even if I don’t have a headache because I love the smell so much 😛 The other she included was a “Frankincense & Cinnamon” which I really enjoy the two together! I’m a bit of a cinnamon fan, so I could be smellin’ on this all day in my cinnamon spice bath later tonight! MMMM CINNAMON GOODNESS ❤
I included these goodies in my monthly favourite’s which will be live shortly!
