E.l.f Haul <3

Image

Hello everyone! I have a decently sized e.l.f haul for you today! If you don’t know about eyeslipsface.com (e.l.f) it is “Top rated premium cosmetic & makeup products starting at just $1 and Free Shipping”. I know you can find these products at Target or Greenwalls.. ?? Which we don’t have either where I live so I just order online and its super easy! I will have all the product links and prices below for anyone who would like!

So starting with “eyes”, my personal favorite which I re-ordered is the eyeshadow primer i’ve mentioned it in a few of my videos on youtube and I honestly can’t see myself buying another eyeshadow primer. This 100% mineral eyeshadow primer is only $3.00 and comes in two different shades, I have “sheer” and it also comes in “blush”. This product works super great at keeping my eyeshadow on the entire day without any creasing. If I don’t apply this before my eye makeup my eyeshadow will crease within an hour, oily oily!

The “Studio Cream Eyeliner” hasn’t been very good to me however I do need to play with it more, the purple shade I ordered was suppose to be kind of bright and fun but it turned out to be a dark purple/brown colour so.. I don’t see myself using it much. $3.00

The “Studio Lash Extending Mascara” is just your basic mascara if you can’t find your main mascara lying around. The wand is pretty flimsy but you can gain extended lashes if you apply a couple layers, which I do anyways but this wand is a bit too flimsy for my liking. I will be holding onto it for emergencies though ๐Ÿ˜› $3.00

My second favorite is the “Studio Eyebrow Kit” I got this in the darkest shade “dark” the brush it comes with the little hairs fall out and into the product and get all up in there, so I advise using your own brush you already have. If you don’t already have one, elf have lots of cheap brushes! This little kit was only $3.00, I only really use the one dark colour side.. not sure what i’ll end up doing with the other ๐Ÿ˜›

Next to keep my eyebrows in place I have the “Studio Eyebrow Treat & Tame” to just hold my brows down where I want them so I don’t have any flyaways! $3.00

For lips I only tried one product this time because I haven’t really been into wearing anything on my lips this winter for they are dry and sad ๐Ÿ˜ฆ Another sad note is i’m not huge on lip gloss’s because I always find them to be sticky and annoying but I thought I would give this a go anyways because it did mention something about being silky and being infused with coconut oil, however … this has got to be the stickiest lip gloss i’ve ever put on my lips. This will never touch my lips again.. I would even feel bad giving it as a present which I do with products sometimes that i’ve only used once. This however! NEVER AGAIN. I don’t know why you would want the link after that little rant but here it is for who ever wants to take a look, luckily this product was onlyย  $3.00 as well.

Next for “face” I’ve been very curious about this “Acne Fighting Foundation” since my last purchase before this one. It’s a lot better than the “Flawless Finish Foundation” and also the “Tinted Moisturizer” by elf. This foundation is wearable with a powder finish, without the powder finish it stays feeling a bit moist on your skin. This foundation is $6.00 so this is one of the more pricey items on eyeslipsface.com, I chose two shades because I have the Ivory in the flawless finish foundation but I wanted to see which colour was truly best for my skin tone. I haven’t even tried the ivory one because the porcelain one works really well with my skin. I also picked up the elf studio “Translucent Matifying Powder” in the shade “translucent”, I find this powder to not be completely translucent and does indeed give a coloured powder application to your skin. I still use it here and there though, not translucent though. Only $3.00 so I really can’t complain ๐Ÿ˜›

For brushes I just chose a couple that I already had just for backup because my stipple brush has fallen apart of couple times and it might be time to retire it. I really recommend checking out their brushes. Their essential brushes (eyeshadow brush & blending eye brush) are $1 each and their studio brushes (stipple brush above) are $3 each. Great for beginners or people who don’t want to spend $30 a brush. The three brushes above are my three favorites.. hence why I re-bought!

I’ve noticed its time to get a proper brush shampoo because hand soap just aint doin it anymore for my brushes. So I picked up this brush shampoo for $3.00. “The Makeup Mist & Set” ($3.00) I’ve tried before and I found it smelt a bit funny after applying to your skin (probably the cucumber) However i’m pretty sure they accidentally threw this in the bag because I don’t know why I would have re-ordered this product when I already have a practically full bottle of it already! I have read good reviews about this product though so i’m going to give it another go!

Last I just chose a simple shiny overcoat nail polish from the “Essentials Nail Polish” line. They have soo many colours and they work well for a drugstore nail polishes, they stay on just as long as any other cheap nail polish and the variety is awesome! This one is in the shade “Twinkle Twilight” I have about 8 different colours from the essentail line! These run at $2.00.

I’m always loosing my nail files so I picked up a pack of three (image only shows two.. because what do you know, I lost one already!) For a pack of 3 is only $1 so you really can’t go wrong with any of these products i’ve shown you today! I hope you enjoyed this post and it’s helped you in some way!

L’Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Review

Image

Since I came across youtube video’s reviewing the L’Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder I have wanted to try it ever since. I have done quite a bit of research on this product because there has been a lot of talk on being a “dupe” of the Armani Maestro Foundation. I came across two photos comparing the two product ingredients (Which I don’t have to share unfortunately!) Basically they are exactly the same however the Maestro Foundation has fragrance and irritants and the spf is 15 instead of 18 other than that they are the exact formula. I’ve also been told that the Magic Nude Liquid Powder is a tad thinner than the Maestro Foundation.

Image

First thing you’ll notice it that it comes in a cute little fogged glass bottle. Unfortunately it does not come sealed at all however that does allow you to test it for your skin tone. I’m not huge on unsealed packaging so I just grabbed one of the farthest one’s to the back of the row. The foundation is very very liquidy, making me wish there were a pump included in the packaging. I use shade Classic Ivory # 312 and it matches my skin tone perfectly! I thought it may be a bit too light for my skin, however it is winter now and I am already a as light as this Classic Ivory I guess! There are 12 shades to choose from which gives you a decent range to pick from.

Image

Before using make sure to wash your hands because the proper and best way to apply this foundation is with your fingers. Next make sure to shake the bottle really well as it advises on the bottle directions. This foundation is very liquidy like I said before so as you’re pouring make sure to be careful that it doesn’t poor all over the place because it comes out fast. You want to get this product from your fingers to your face as fast as you can, it practically dries once touching your face which is the Liquid changing to Powder part!
Image

Once you start blending it over your face you will be satisfied by the silky smooth application and finish. This literally feels like your applying foundation made of silk. The coverage is light to medium and gives a very flawless looking finish. I have combination skin and I notice that I do look a bit shiny on my Tzone but I can’t see the redness of my Tzone which is good news! A little powder can fix that up no problem.

Image

The best part about this product is that you don’t feel like you’re wearing any makeup on your face! At all! The finish look of this liquid powder makes my skin look smooth and near perfect. Definitely one of my new favourites and will be using a lot this winter!
