Not going to lie.. this box is back from December but I never got to it with being madly sick with my first trimester of pregnancy and moving house. Which was an exhausting combo. But now I am feeling like myself again and ready to continue on with my blogging journey! This is such a special box I had to wait until I was fully ready to create some beautiful photo’s to share with you how beautiful this subscription box truly is. So let’s continue, shall we? And see what kind of nourishing, spiritual items I received..
If you know me in person, you’ll know that I am definitely a skincare enthusiast. I went to school for Esthetics and worked in the spa industry for 5 years. I truly truly love skincare and the ritual that comes along with it. That being said, I was very pleased to find this rose quartz facial roller in this box! First off I LOVE rose quartz ❤ and secondly this is amazing to add into your skincare ritual.
Who doesn’t love a tasty little treat when opening a subscription box? This adorable chocolate bar is by FINE & RAW chocolate, they are based out of Brooklyn and is plant based / vegan. Which I believe we can also all get down with, guilt free chocolate anyone? You can check out FINE & RAW on their website or instagram below.

This beautiful wooden crystal grid mandala is by Zen and Meow. They are based out of Pennsylvania and have a ton of neat different items to check out.
Oooh and speaking of skin care and rituals I received this beautiful rose quartz illuminator by SkinOwl. This illuminator is a nourishing blend of plant oils, scented with vanilla and gives your skin a beautiful rose quartz glow. This is subtle enough to wear on your face for a beautiful natural glow while enhancing feelings of self love and peace ❤ Their products are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, fragrance-free, and free from ethoxylation. 95% of their packaging materials are recycled – “from our glass bottles to our packing peanuts.”

And for my bath ritual there is this beautiful bath bomb by Life Flower Care who are a family based company based out of Orange County, California. Made with grapefruit essential oil, herbs of hibiscus, sage & topped with a rose quartz crystal! How nourishing is that? Yes. Please.

My last item from this glorious box is the Crystal Grid Oracle Cards by Ashley Leavy. Ashley is the founder & educational director of the Love & Light School of Crystal Therapy. You can check out her crystal healing sessions & programs on her website & instagram.

Okay so how amazing was this subscription box? This is by far the most well thought out, pieced together box I have ever experienced. I love every single thing this box included and love that all of the companies included are smaller, home owned businesses. If you’re looking for a gift for yourself or someone else, deffinitely check Goddess Provisions out.

❄ A few moments with Jess Brown ❄

Today I have my roommate and  very close friend with me to interview! & It just so happens to be her birthday! So hello and happy birthday to you Jess! I hope you have a beautiful year ❤

What do you dream about?

I constantly dream about the future, what is next for me in life, where I want to be, how I’m going to get there. Sometimes I dream about the future so much, I have to remind myself to come back down to earth.

Best thing to do on a rainy day?

Most rainy days you would probably find me in my bedroom.. blasting tunes, scribbling in notebooks, doing yoga, watching youtube videos of burlesque dancers from around the world, drinking herbal tea & smoking doobies.

The most important thing in life?

It’s the little things in life that really make me smile, silly inside jokes that don’t make sense, an awesome new song that you just can’t stop rocking out too, an outfit that makes you feel really beautiful, a good hair day, when the sun is shining, birds chirping, rainbows, unicorns, You get the point. I believe in seeing the beauty in everything and taking time to smell the god damn roses!

What’s one thing you’re most proud of?

I’m really proud of myself. I started moving around at 18 and I’ve lived in several cities across the country and I’ve done it all on my own. There have been plenty of bumps in the road but I’ve never been afraid to put myself out there and go for what I really want. I think that is something to be proud of.

What’s one thing would you change about our society?

I can’t pick just one thing and I’m having a hard time answering without writing an essay! I just really wish we could get along and respect each other. You may say I’m a dreamer…

What do you think about first thing in the morning?

I have an incredible view of Elephant mountain from my bedroom so every morning I wake up, I have a good look out my window, smile, remind myself how grateful I am for so much then make a mental note of what the weather looks like so I can dress accordingly.

Liebster Award – Discover New Blogs

Good evening beautiful beans ❤ The other day I was nominated by a fellow blogger – https://shopaholicblogs.com –  for the “Liebster Award”. Let’s jump right into it!

✨What do you think is the most effective form of social media to promote your blog?

Miz Lulu: That’s kind of a tricky one because i’m all over the map with social media and my blog, but when it comes down to community I would say WordPress and Youtube.

✨How long did it take you to hit the 100+ follower/likes mark? And what tips would you give to other bloggers to get there?

Miz Lulu: I can’t really put a date or number on how long it took me, I would say deffinitely a couple of months though for sure.

✨Your biggest setback in blogging and how you overcame it?

Miz Lulu: Just finding time to take photos and write about stuff would be my biggest setback. After school or work all day the energy just isn’t there for me. I find once I pick my camera up though and start taking photos I click back into my zone of creativity ^.^

✨One travel tip you live by.

Miz Lulu: Travel with people you love being around.

✨Reblog one of your all time favorite blog post here and why you like it 💞

Miz Lulu: How about my favourite page on my blog? Would be my photography page ^.^  https://lifewithmizlulu.com/photography/

✨The best place for scoring shopping bargains you frequent ❓

Miz Lulu: Aliexpress

✨How do you come with ideas for blog posts?

Miz Lulu: All by personal interest and what has me interested at the time.

✨Your favorite makeup brand and why?

Miz Lulu: That’s a hard one because i’m kind of in between makeup products at the moment, and have been for a while. NYX and L’oreal have always been solid though!

✨Have you ever left a mean comment on a video or a blog? What would you say to people who do?

Miz Lulu: Perhaps when I was very young and can’t remember how old or what I had said but in the past 10 years no. I would never put someone down for content they have put their time and energy into. I know how hard it is to be satisfied with something you wrote or a picture you took or any kind of content you put out on the internet and how judgmental people are and can be. Community is probably the biggest part of running a blog, you can’t expect people to love your content when you’re not putting out any positive energy on other peoples websites and appreciating others content.

✨If you are only allowed to use two makeup products what would you use? And why?

Miz Lulu: I would use BB Cream SPF and Mascara. Bb cream to keep my skin moisturized while protecting it from the sun, pollution and other harmful elements. And mascara because my eyelashes are really light and I look like I don’t have any when i’m not wearing it 😛

✨The best present to get you would be?

Miz Lulu: Crystals!

My nominee’s are:

My Questions:

  1. What is your favourite place you have ever visited?
  2. Makeup or fashion?
  3. What is your favourite film and why?
  4. What is one piece of advice you would give to other people that is important to you also?
  5. What is one of your all time favourite albums?
  6. What’s your favourite way to relax?
  7. What do you love the most about blogging?
  8. What is your favourite Spring/Summer snack?
  9. Tell me one exciting thing that has happened to you this year!
  10. What is your favourite kind of blog post to read?
  11. Drug store or high end makeup?

Another big thank you to https://shopaholicblogs.com for nominating me! This has been super fun!

Hope everyone has a lovely day ❤ Big hugs! xo

Tuesday Evening Updates:

I recently had a very lovely friend of mine colour my hair for me. I’ve decided I want to grow my hair longer than I have ever had it before! Which it’s actually already pretty close.. or could quite possibly already be the longest i’ve ever grown my hair. So.. Wanting to grow my hair long and strong, but still needing to do something flavorful and fresh i’ve decided to dye my hair a colour i’ve only ever dyed my hair once before… Shade mocha, it didn’t actually turn out how dark i wanted to go, so it’s actually more of my natural looking shade.
