How would you describe yourself?
A sensual feminist with a dry sense of humour. A dancer, an artist, a big kid; I’m just another perfectly Imperfect soul, trying to do my best and be a good person.

Which Burlesque dancers influenced you and what makes a great Burlesque dancer?
The local Kootenay burlesque talent has such an impact on me, as we train and perform together. I fell in love with Burlesque in Victoria, so shout out to Sweet Dee and Rosie Bitts. I also love international performers such as Pearl Noir (a true athlete), Miss Miranda (epically graceful), and Lola Frost (Canadian goddess).
A great burlesque dancer is a confident woman who expresses her individuality thru the medium of strip-tease. Like any art form, an individual’s personal flare is what makes it special. There are the basics tho: slow grace, poise, facial expressions, smooth removals, and cohesive themes.

What do you dream about?
A world where body-shaming, rape culture, raceism, and predjudice of all kinds is a thing of the past. I also dream about a full body massage by Taye Diggs and PeteBox.

Best thing to do on a rainy day?
Hike into the natural hotsprings. I love the long drive out to Nakusp, rocking my tunes too loud and singing badly. Then the hike is so exhilarating. The hotsprings are so blissful and healing.

The most important thing in life?
Balance. In work, in social situations, physically, and emotionally. Balance is key. To find balance is to be able to listen to your intuition and instinct and be honest with yourself.

Where has the time gone?

lookbook_01

I usually don’t post outfits, however I recently recieved these wedge booties I ordered from gojane.com (link to booties below) I created this look for my lookbook.nu account, i’m going to try and take more outfit of the day photo’s, get a little bit more creative and infront of the camera . Here’s my lookbook! If any of you have it 🙂

These wedges originally reminded me of the Jeffrey Campbell Damsel heel, which I LOVE. I just can’t bring myself to spend $200 on a pair of 5-6″ heels that i won’t wear very often because i’m already 5’9″. I prefer not to stick out like a sore thumb 6 inches taller than most the people in my town 😛  These have a close resemblance and are only 3.5″ heel which is perfect height for my liking. LOVE THESE BOOTIES ❤
