Camilla Cosmetics

IMG_3800.JPGI recently purchase these two delightful lip products by Camilla Cosmetics. They’re both in the shade #44. They’re a really lovely neutral, mauve, soft pink hue that glide really really nicely onto your lips. These do stain your lips helping them last longer which I am down with. The packaging is very sleek and pretty with the flower accents on the sides.

“This pink lip colour is perfect for everyday use. Neutral but with just enough pop to make it fun and eye-catching. You’ll love the feel of it – moisturizing and pigmented.”

Price: $14.00

“This lipgloss offers shine and pigmentation without the stickiness. Perfect for a soft understated look that goes well with everything.”

Price: $14.00 –

♡ Bridal Beauty ♡

LoverlyBridalBeauty02 When I try to imagine my wedding day.. I see lilacs, quartz crystals, amethyst, lace and for some reason oak. The aromas carried by the light breeze in the air are the lilacs, with warm hints of amber and orchids. We are all different, but I am sure there is more than a handful of us who dream of looking like a true angel on our day. Below are a couple of my choices from, An online wedding planning binder with choices of nearly everything needed for your perfect wedding.
There are thousands of dresses to choose from, have a look here: contacted me asking if I would like to put together some bridal makeup that I would wear on my wedding day. This was a perfect surprise because as most of you probably don’t know, I am engaged! And could really use some direction to get started on the planning. The website is very organized and you can search colours to dresses to decor & more! It’s a really neat concept and i’ve already started “loving” things on my account which I will leave below.
On my wedding day I would like to keep things mainly pretty natural, letting my true beauty shine with some subtle enhancements. A slight glow to the skin with light eyes and a soft lip. Below are some products to complete a soft, natural, angelic feeling for your special day!

September Ipsy Bag!

IMG_2542I received my Ipsy bag extremely late this month, but better late then never! This months bag was this gunmetal silver with four studs spread across the top of the bag.

My first product is this Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser by Nourish Organic. I haven’t used this yet because at first I was simply confused wether it was a moisturizing cream or if it was a face cleanser. However my friends, yes, THIS PRODUCT IS BOTH.  This is a sample size, the full size is $13.00

  • Fragrance-free formula cleanses without drying or irritating
  • Penetrates deep into pores to dissolve dirt, oil and makeup
  • Packed with vitamins and antioxidants to nourish skin

This gentle cleanser washes away impurities without drying, irritating or causing redness. Cucumber hydrates and soothes. Watercress, rich in antioxidants, helps protect skin from free radical damage. Fragrance-Free. Alcohol-Free. Gluten-Free. Vegan.

My next product is this “Luxury Hand Cream” by Mitchell and Peach. Made in England! I’ve never tried any of their products until this hand cream. It leaves your hands velvety smooth and the scent is quite delightful. This is a sample size, the full product costs £17 which would be like.. $22.?

“This easily absorbed hand cream contains Vitamin E, shea butter and English honey to soften, nourish and protect the skin.”

Next I have this Art Touch Tinted Lip Gloss in the shade 08 Love Affair. This is a really deep burgundy/maroon colour, I tried this lip gloss out and I would recommend wearing overtop of a colour lip. It doesn’t layer very well so you need to have a base colour on your lips so they don’t appear streaky. This is a full size product at the price of $19 (this product alone pays for the entire bag itself and $3 left over in Canada)

Next is this Natural Eye Pencil by Pacifica in the shade “Gun Metal” (how fitting). The pigment of this eye pencil is really nice and bold. This is a sample size, full product costs $11.

Last in my bag I have this duo brush by CROWN Brush | C476 Crease/Shadow | It’s very soft and i’m sure i’ll get some good use out of this! New brushes are always welcome ❤ This is a full size product, I can’t find this specific brush on the website at the moment but I imagine it would be a similar price to these ones, $9.99.

February Ipsy Glam Bag

Well.. it’s that time of month again! Thank goodness winter is almost over. I feel so unproductive these last few months! Well.. Ever since December to be honest.. SLOWLY COMING AROUND THOUGH. The sun was out for a couple of days which it was absolutely gorgeous out! Today now we’re back to a cold grey sky with a light sprinkle of snow… And you’re welcome for the weather update 😉

The theme of this months ipsy bag was “the look of love” which is cute, lets not deny it.  The first thing i pulled out was this really pretty “be matte blush”. I was slightly dissapointed when i pulled it out to find it has been all broken up *tear. So i will be doing a blog post soon on how to fix the broken up powder! I have a lot of girlfriends who have just thrown their makeup away not knowing that you can fix it so hopefully it will help some of you out there!

This product is $2.99 and is a full product! … well.. crumbled full product! :3

Next I pulled out another ZOYA box which is always exciting! Inside the box was this really lovely nail polish in the shade “odette” which is this lovely calming purple colour! I have it on right now and i am totally loving it ❤

This product is $9 and is full size!

My next product I actually really enjoy. I’m not one for lip gloss but this gloss isn’t sticky at all and it’s a pretty cute lip colour. it contains avacado and jojoba oils which totally explains the smoothness of it! This lip gloss is from POP beauty, i’ve tried a couple of their other products thanks to ipsy, and i quite enjoy what i’ve tried so far.

So i have this gloss in the shade “Peony Petal”, it is a sample size which i think is perfect for me! All of these gloss’s are actually sold out on their site so i guess people must be loving them!

Since this is a sample size the full size costs $10.50

My next product I pull out of this cute pink bag, is this “Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Eyeliner” in the shade “starshine” which is this very metallic silver. Should be interesting to try it out this summer!

This product is $15 and is a full size product.

Last but not least was this set of eyelashes from J.Cat beauty. I have a lip pencil from J.Cat and i really love it so i am excited to try these eyelashes out tonight for my girlfriend birthday! Thankfully it came with some eyelash glue because the last eyelashes i got through ipsy left me glueless so they are still sitting in their package, hehe.

These cost $3.99 and is obvs.. a full product! Would be awfully silly if they only put in one eyelash 😛

I hope you enjoyed my glam bag post this month! What did you get in yours?? I would love to take a look or hear what you got!

E.l.f Haul <3

Hello everyone! I have a decently sized e.l.f haul for you today! If you don’t know about (e.l.f) it is “Top rated premium cosmetic & makeup products starting at just $1 and Free Shipping”. I know you can find these products at Target or Greenwalls.. ?? Which we don’t have either where I live so I just order online and its super easy! I will have all the product links and prices below for anyone who would like!

So starting with “eyes”, my personal favorite which I re-ordered is the eyeshadow primer i’ve mentioned it in a few of my videos on youtube and I honestly can’t see myself buying another eyeshadow primer. This 100% mineral eyeshadow primer is only $3.00 and comes in two different shades, I have “sheer” and it also comes in “blush”. This product works super great at keeping my eyeshadow on the entire day without any creasing. If I don’t apply this before my eye makeup my eyeshadow will crease within an hour, oily oily!

The “Studio Cream Eyeliner” hasn’t been very good to me however I do need to play with it more, the purple shade I ordered was suppose to be kind of bright and fun but it turned out to be a dark purple/brown colour so.. I don’t see myself using it much. $3.00

The “Studio Lash Extending Mascara” is just your basic mascara if you can’t find your main mascara lying around. The wand is pretty flimsy but you can gain extended lashes if you apply a couple layers, which I do anyways but this wand is a bit too flimsy for my liking. I will be holding onto it for emergencies though 😛 $3.00

My second favorite is the “Studio Eyebrow Kit” I got this in the darkest shade “dark” the brush it comes with the little hairs fall out and into the product and get all up in there, so I advise using your own brush you already have. If you don’t already have one, elf have lots of cheap brushes! This little kit was only $3.00, I only really use the one dark colour side.. not sure what i’ll end up doing with the other 😛

Next to keep my eyebrows in place I have the “Studio Eyebrow Treat & Tame” to just hold my brows down where I want them so I don’t have any flyaways! $3.00

For lips I only tried one product this time because I haven’t really been into wearing anything on my lips this winter for they are dry and sad 😦 Another sad note is i’m not huge on lip gloss’s because I always find them to be sticky and annoying but I thought I would give this a go anyways because it did mention something about being silky and being infused with coconut oil, however … this has got to be the stickiest lip gloss i’ve ever put on my lips. This will never touch my lips again.. I would even feel bad giving it as a present which I do with products sometimes that i’ve only used once. This however! NEVER AGAIN. I don’t know why you would want the link after that little rant but here it is for who ever wants to take a look, luckily this product was only  $3.00 as well.

Next for “face” I’ve been very curious about this “Acne Fighting Foundation” since my last purchase before this one. It’s a lot better than the “Flawless Finish Foundation” and also the “Tinted Moisturizer” by elf. This foundation is wearable with a powder finish, without the powder finish it stays feeling a bit moist on your skin. This foundation is $6.00 so this is one of the more pricey items on, I chose two shades because I have the Ivory in the flawless finish foundation but I wanted to see which colour was truly best for my skin tone. I haven’t even tried the ivory one because the porcelain one works really well with my skin. I also picked up the elf studio “Translucent Matifying Powder” in the shade “translucent”, I find this powder to not be completely translucent and does indeed give a coloured powder application to your skin. I still use it here and there though, not translucent though. Only $3.00 so I really can’t complain 😛

For brushes I just chose a couple that I already had just for backup because my stipple brush has fallen apart of couple times and it might be time to retire it. I really recommend checking out their brushes. Their essential brushes (eyeshadow brush & blending eye brush) are $1 each and their studio brushes (stipple brush above) are $3 each. Great for beginners or people who don’t want to spend $30 a brush. The three brushes above are my three favorites.. hence why I re-bought!

Essential Brushes $1

I’ve noticed its time to get a proper brush shampoo because hand soap just aint doin it anymore for my brushes. So I picked up this brush shampoo for $3.00. “The Makeup Mist & Set” ($3.00) I’ve tried before and I found it smelt a bit funny after applying to your skin (probably the cucumber) However i’m pretty sure they accidentally threw this in the bag because I don’t know why I would have re-ordered this product when I already have a practically full bottle of it already! I have read good reviews about this product though so i’m going to give it another go!

Last I just chose a simple shiny overcoat nail polish from the “Essentials Nail Polish” line. They have soo many colours and they work well for a drugstore nail polishes, they stay on just as long as any other cheap nail polish and the variety is awesome! This one is in the shade “Twinkle Twilight” I have about 8 different colours from the essentail line! These run at $2.00.

I’m always loosing my nail files so I picked up a pack of three (image only shows two.. because what do you know, I lost one already!) For a pack of 3 is only $1 so you really can’t go wrong with any of these products i’ve shown you today! I hope you enjoyed this post and it’s helped you in some way!
