Even though their beauty doesn’t last long, the few days these flowers share their presence is enough to appreciate for a lifetime.
Today marks my 26th week of pregnancy. Feeling good! Really enjoying the spring time and all it’s glory. About to make some tasty banana bread with oat flour.. so i’ll let you know how that turns out. I have mad ripe bananas in my fridge that my friend dropped off after her dad bought a mound of banana’s (couldn’t help a good deal, which I can get down with). Possibly going to make more than one loaf depending how it turns out!
So this weeks pregnancy update is that the baby can supposedly hear our voices now when we conversate with each other. He is inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for his lung development & is good practice for when he takes his first gulp of air. 🙂 & from what I have read, the baby is supposedly around the size of a cauliflower.
In love with the lupins on our property! There are a few different colours right now but I thought I would just make an appreciation post for each. Loving the purple & white as it is so angelic and delicate! The lupins are giving a real nice pop of colour throughout our overgrown yard.
🍃🌼 We had the pleasure of this beautiful appalachian tiger swallowtail accompany us this morning. 🌼🍃
My sweetheart of a Mum brought these over the other day ♡ These spring flowers are so lovely to wake up to and are quite fragrant, filling the room with love each morning! ♡
Happy earth day you beautiful planet!

Today we arrived in Vancouver, my first of three nights here with my boyfriend. Headed back on Sunday and not sure what’s on the schedule tonight, just going with the flow. It feels awfully nice not to be driving anymore though after the 8 hour drive.
The last couple of days we’ve hit a couple different beautiful spots including 2 incredible waterfalls that we stopped at and hit some tokes and took some photo’s and video footage at which i’ll share below.
We visited with my boyfriends family in the Okanagan who I had never met before ,which was nice. The Okanagan of BC is bloody precious, especially during the Fall time. All the rich, warm, burnt looking colours against either the sunshine or the grey fog is absolutely memorizing.
So we’ve been in Vancouver for the last few hours, we hit this bar Score which is known for its Caesars, had a beer afterwards then went on the hunt for a liqour store to bring some drinks back to our hotel with us. Whilst looking for this liqour store we came across a thrift store that looked potentially like a lot of fun, but we were kind of buzzed and not in the right mind frame to be digging through 50 knits of the same colour at a time. Eventually left and continued on our liqour store hunt, came a time while we almost gave up with our gps system and were going to ask someone in the next store but all the next stores were hair salons and nail bars which all looked really busy so we continued then BOOM. Very next store was a liqour store 😛
So here we are sitting in our hotel room sipping on our drinks of choice, mine being Stella Artois and my boyfriend Rye & Ginger. Thinking about going for a swim in a bit at the hotel pool, cause why the hell wouldn’t you!
